A new chapter in the collectibles project
The Sketch Body project celebrates the meeting of the two extremes of the creative process: intuition and execution.
On one side, the first gesture. A rapid, almost instinctive stroke that moves across the paper and captures an idea still free from the constraints of matter. It is the very essence of creation: the moment when a vision takes shape through the designer’s hand, in the immediate, recognisable line of Flavio Manzoni.

On the other, the mastery of making. The precision of engineering, manufacturing excellence and artisanal expertise that transform that intuition into an object capable of taking to the road. It is the moment when imagination becomes presence, when form asserts itself in its completed dimension.
Inspired by the Ferrari 812 Competizione Tailor Made, bonnets or rear decks are freed from their original function to become a three-dimensional canvas on which the sketch that guided their creation comes to life once more. The first creative stroke thus returns to the surface which, at the end of the process, represents one of the most complete expressions of the car.
